Quisenberry's Visit

At the beginning of October David Quisenberry and his lovely wife, Kristine, came up from their home in Dallas, Texas for a long weekend visit. After showing them around our little mountain town of Boulder, we stopped off at the University of Colorado campus where David lit up his Purdy Tadpole.



Later, we headed up Boulder Canyon into the high country where we stopped at Branard Lake in the Indian Peaks region. The ferocious wind dipped temperatures down into what we estimated to be the 20's on an otherwise pristine autumn day.

In the evening David acted as grill master, producing perfectly grilled steaks for our enjoyment at dinner. Then he and Will headed down into Will's shop to smoke their pipes, watch our Colorado Rockies win yet ANOTHER game in their bid for the World Series,to which they are going, and chat, while Kristine and I drank Cosmopolitans upstairs and did some serious female bonding. What a fabulous woman she is!

David and Kristine are wonderfully delightful people and it was a joy and a blessing on our home to have their company for three whole days. See you in Chicago, Dave! And, GO ROCKIES!!!
